Frequently asked

Common questions

Is The Burgeon Project a treatment center or group home?
No. It is not a treatment center, group home, institution, or behavioral compliance program. It is a community built around belonging, purpose, and lifelong support.
Who is it for?
Neurodivergent adults and anyone who has struggled to feel belonging — including people managing anxiety, trauma, addiction, or executive-functioning challenges alongside autism or ADHD.
How will it be funded?
Through a diversified model — founder-led businesses, donations, grants, housing capital, resident revenue, and community enterprises. No single source carries the whole vision.
Is it available now?
The Burgeon Project is a long-term vision, not an open program. The ecosystem is currently in active development through research and partnerships. The first pilot program will be built before any land is acquired. Turning this vision into reality takes people; if you'd like to help build it, we want to hear from you. Right now, this is one person's vision for creating an ecosystem that works for people who need it. I am open to working with others to achieve this vision.
